Learn how to set up your voicemail on iPhone. We’ll walk you through the steps of activating your voicemail inbox and recording your greeting.
To set up voicemail on your iPhone, tap Phone on your main screen. Tap Voicemail in the bottom menu. Tap the Set Up Now button. Choose a passcode to secure your voicemail. Use the default greeting or record your own. Finally, tap Save to set your outgoing voicemail message.
To test that your greeting and inbox have been set up properly, call your own phone number from another phone to see what it sounds like. Remember that you can go back and change your greeting at any time.
